Hot Damn! Update on the Feds.

My friend  called me this evening.  Seems the Assistant Chief of Pharmacy  pulled her aside and said: “We just hired your friend. HR will be calling her within 6-8 weeks, but don’t say a word to her yet, OK?”

My friend says: “I told him..’Ok, I won’t say anything’…but as soon as I left work I called you! I can’t wait!  We can have lunch together!!”

I’m flabbergasted.   What is UP with the Feds????  I’m thinking how glad I am that I didn’t buy a shitload of brand new scrubs (street clothes in the outpatient pharmacy).  I’m dismayed at having to purchase a biz-casual wardrobe (since I’ve only worn scrubs for the past 4 years).  But….

I’m still skeptical.  I’ll believe it when I get that call.  My bout of retail lust (for clothes shopping, of course!) is on hold for the duration.
